Hi ,

I am new to the group. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer in July. The chemotherapy made big improvements, but now that the last treatment was completed on Friday suddenly my mood became lower. I would love to talk to someone who is going through something similar. It is surreal, I am only 53 years old.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and it's great to read that the chemotherapy you've had has made big improvements.

The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as you.

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi!

i also have stage 4 endometrial cancer. I’ve just finished 5rounds of chemo and 6 of immunotherapy. Now waiting an op. I don’t have a womb after a complete hysterectomy 17 years ago. Lingering endo attached to stomach wall and became cancerous. I’m 10 years older than you but I’ve not spoken to anyone who has this!

    How are you doing ?

    Hi all !
I have stage 4 endometrial cancer, despite having a total hysterectomy 16 years ago. Cancer in stomach wall, intestine and bladder.Had first chemotherapy June 2nd will now ave chemo/immunotherapy combined!

    Anyone else have chronic constipation?

what can I expect differently with combination?
