Ziggyzed - hang in there, Google searches account for the most unnecessary mental stress through inaccuracies and mis-information - OF ALL TIME.
Sites such as this can help alleviate many concerns, so I'm sure along with many here, we can help you reduce some anxiety.
My brother Ged was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a few years ago. He was young enough to get a stem cell transplant but unfortunately was diagnosed with Liver NET cancer within 12 months. He thought they were linked - but not so - just unlucky to get two different cancers. He has had Radio therapy for myeloma and now on PRRT for the liver tumor, so currently receiving treatment for both.
Everyday the advances in therapy give your oncologist a variety of treatments, depending on your condition, your immune system, medical history, blood type, etc etc.
Don't despair, the range of treatment now is immense and it sounds like you have caught the breast issue early when they can do something about it at the same time as your lung.
Hi ziggyzed and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I have had two primary cancer diagnoses over the past 8 years although not at the same time. My first was melanoma followed 5 years later by breast cancer.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the breast cancer and lung cancer groups, which are great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
To join, just click on the links I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnoses and tests to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Thankyou latchbrook for your great advise,i was reaching out because i didnt no what else to do. i will ask on other groups when i can stop crying.x
