Hi Reb29 and warm welcome to the Macmillan Community although sorry that you had to find us.
I am Mike and I help out around our Lymphoma groups……. As you have had R-CHOP I am assuming that you have been treated fir one of the 60 types and sub-types of Lymphoma
Having pain in your joints, hands and legs post treatment is rather normal… R-CHOP is strong stuff so your body does take a hit and it will take time to recover…. and this can be a lot longer than you would think…… and certainly had to navigate this.
I have been on my lymphoma journey for over 25 years with 2 rare types of T-Cell NHL and can certainly recognise these challenges…… but I am over 9 years out from my last treatment, turned 69 last Nov and am living a great life.
This New to Community area is like our reception desk where we look to try and direct you to the best part of the Community for you to get support.
The Community is actually divided into dedicated Support Groups (Discussion Rooms)….. but we can’t have a group for all 60 Lymphoma types but these are our main Lymphoma groups below.
General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma
These groups are safe places to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support.
Have a look at the group list above…… then click on the link that best fits your type of Lymphoma……. and when the group page opens you will see a [Black - Click to Join - Banner] at the bottom of the page, click in this box and this will then confirm that you have joined the group.
When you are ready……. you can introduce yourself by putting up your very own post by clicking [+ Create new post] or [+] in the top right of the group page.
You can copy and paste the text from this post into your new post.
I will keep an eye open for you but if you are not sure what type you have pleased do get back to me on this post and I will help you out further.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
