Hi all. New to the community so just saying hello really, not sure what to say. I was diagnosed in July 2024 after getting pains in my hips and being sent for an x-ray to check for arthritis. Turned out to be bone cancer. Had a course of radio therapy which helped with the pain and have just started chemo so early days on that. That's about it really.
Hi NIP and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read about your recent cancer diagnosis and I know how difficult it can be to get your head around it.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the unknown primary cancer and secondary bone cancer groups which are great places to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
If you need any help finding your way around just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
Thank you Latchbrook.
i will be looking at both of these groups going forward.
regards
NIP
