Hi there, here's my journey
6 years watch and wait, then aml and mds popped its ugly head, donnor match, someone from Germany, which only lasted 3 years, and the cancer was back, I've been on azacitidine injections almost 5 years... only 5 day treatment and 3 weeks off, was a shock this month as neutrophils was too low, so had a extra 3 weeks off.. and atm im having my chemo laters...
It's a first for me joining I'm not sure what else to say....

I'm sorry to read that after 3 years your AML and MDS has recurred.
The online community is divided into different support forums so I'm going to recommend that you join and post in the acute myeloid leukaemia forum and also the myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative neoplasms forum as you'll then connect directly with others who have these cancers to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
