Hi everyone, I am 49 year old female and new to this group after being urgently referred to breast clinic and value all support from other members in similar situations.
My story is approximately 4 weeks ago I found a small lump under my left armpit, didn’t think a lot about it. I went on holiday and maybe due to different bathroom lighting in the hotel etc this armpit lump appeared more prominent. I arranged a GP appointment on Friday who carried out a breast examination, she located a 3-4cms lump in my left breast and also the lump under my armpit. I am still sore 2 days later following the GP examining this breast lump, (very painful) I am now very frightened as I didn’t know I had the breast lump.
I am now thinking the absolute worst possible scenario, has anybody experienced anything similar that can provide reassurance. Many thanks
