Not sure how to use this forum as yet so please forgive me if I’m posting in the wrong place. I have found a lump and my nipple inverts. I’m scared to even go to the doctors. I only have my daughter who is a teen and I have no other family support. I have breast cancer in my family history and I am so so frightened. I’m also frightened the doctor won’t see me, or tell me it won’t be without even seeing me because of the way things are and unfortunately I’ve read a lot lately about age being a factor doctors may dismiss I as something else. I’m 32 yrs old. I’m just looking for someone to point me in the right direction, what do I do, where do I go and most of all I’m looking for support.
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that you've found some changes to your breast and it's natural to feel scared as you have a history of breast cancer in your family.
The online community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've already joined and posted in the breast cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support. I'm sure you'll soon get replies from the others there.
In the meantime don't put off making an appointment to see your GP who I'm sure will take your concerns seriously.
Sending a virtual (((hug)))
