Hi Guys,

im new here so haven’t properly looked through everything but I am three weeks into my six week course of radiotherapy to my brain and my hair is falling out thick and fast. I’d prepared myself for this happening with my Chemo but not so much my radio. With it being on my head it’s starting to become more and more obvious. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to get good quality wigs, either real hair or synthetic. I’m 35 and have long dark hair to my elbows so this has been the hardest thing to accept since my brain tumour diagnosis in June this year so any help really would be so appreciated.

Thanks so much

I'm sorry to read that your experiencing hair loss which must be very upsetting.

I can't help with your question but I can see that you've already joined the brain cancer group, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support, and I'm sure if you post there you'll get advice on what others did when they experienced hair loss.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
