Hi,
A small mole on my arm which I've had for years scabbed over last week then the scab fell off, the mole underneath looks fine again now.
I have another small mole which looks dry and crusty and I've noticed a mole on my chest that I have had for years looks bigger and lumpy and has changed quite a lot in appearance. I've made an appt for a doctor to call me back next week to discuss.
Has anyone had any similar experiences? Thanks.
Hi Starship100 and a very warm welcome to the online community
It's always worrying when you notice something has changed on your skin but you've done the right thing in arranging to speak to your GP.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you come and join us over in the melanoma group where you can chat with others who are going through the same process as you or, like me, have been through it.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'. To save you typing this all out again just copy and paste it into your new posts.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
