Hi all,
I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in December last year,
Have had Chemo and now on immunotherapy every two weeks.
Have found it hard to accept this problem and try to get on with day to day life but sometimes something triggers and you to fall to the bottom of the ladder again
ready for another climb.
Anyway want to get away for a week or so but am struggling to find any insurance co that will insure me,not really concerned about cancer cover but just to have
normal holiday cover, would appreciate any suggestions anyone has or recommendations.

Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to find travel insurance when you have a cancer diagnosis.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups can I recommend that you join us over in the travel insurance group where you can see recommendations from others who have successfully obtained travel insurance.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Once you've joined the travel insurance group, look for the thread called 'recommended travel insurance', which is always on the first page of the discussions list, as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are.
It's best to phone the insurance companies rather than try and do online quotes as often at the end of the online quote it will tell you to phone the company and you'll then have to go through all the information again. Also sometimes the broker can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
