I've just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am utterly shattered and so scared about the journey ahead. While undergoing the diagnostic tests and scans (after I noticed a lump in my right breast), I was hoping it will not come back positive for cancer. The doctor says a bright side I should be happy about is that its still localised to the right breast and right axillary nodes. I am scheduled for a complete mastectomy and axillary node clearance later this month and then chemo and radiotherapy subsequently. I am so terrified. . . . .

I'm sorry to read that you've just been diagnosed with breast cancer and of course it's normal to feel how you do at the moment. Most people will tell you that once you have a treatment plan in place everything will feel less scary.
I can see that you've already found and joined the breast cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
