Hello. I had a high risk prostrate cancer operation around 16 years ago. And whilst I was doing functionally well from this. The PSA relapsed I was being monitored for a few years. Then discharged in 2019. But unexpectedly my PSA has risen.

I had a nasty cough and was coughing up phlegm for more than 3 weeks.   My wife made an appointment and I was sent for a X-ray

with in 3 days my doctor called and arranged a CT scan.  A week later he phone to say my PSA had gone up to 30+ and that the CT scan had showed the prostrate cancer had gone to my spine.  I was then sent back to oncology and the doctor decussed what had happen and he was putting me onshore one therapy and wanted a scan of my lower abdomen.   I have taken Bicaluamide tablets for 14 day and have had one hormone injection. Due to have my second on 27th July which will be a big one and then every 3 months.  I have spoken to a lady on the phone who gave me my results, the cancer is in my pelvis and spine.  She said it can’t be cured will the hormone injection keep me alive?
