Hi to everyone I am new to this forum and am a little confused after seeing my radiotherapy consultant yesterday . I have recently had a lumpectomy for a grade1 tumour which was 9mm with no further spread to the lymph nodes . I am due to start radiotherapy within the next few weeks and she has given me the choice of either partial breast radiotherapy followed by 5 years of Tamoxifan or full breast radiotherapy and no hormone treatment after
I have read about the side effects of Tamoxifan which are slightly alarming and wonder if anybody out there can offer me any advice
