Hi I’m new to the group I have been diagnosed with Tracheal cancer I had laser surgery to remove tumour, last scan I have a swelling still so not sure if it’s still cancer or from operation I’m waiting to see what next step is, there has been talk about a resection but I really don’t want that as I’m terrified about it so I’m just trying to take each day as it comes and stay positive

A cancer diagnosis can be very challenging but talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer journey (my one is completely different) will help you navigate this difficult time so can I recommend you join our supportive Adenoid cystic carcinoma and Head and neck cancer groups as these will be good places to connect with patients and family on the same cancer treatment pathway.
