Hi all I'm new here I've had a diffuse astrOcytoMa since November 2020 I had surgery in February 2021and am currently under going pcv chemo un fortunately I've been delayed by 2wewks now due to low platelets does anyone have advice or is there anything I can personally do to get these pltlets back to a safe level im starting to get anxious that if im not having the scheduled chemo then it's giving the tumour a chance to grow.

I'm sorry to read that your chemo has been delayed by a couple of weeks due to low platelets and I can understand why you'd be worried about the delay.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the brain cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with a diffuse astrocytoma.
To join just click on the links I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment in your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
