Hi I’m new to the group and wondered if anyone has any advise? I have recently be diagnosed with anemia and has a ct to investigate why it is so low. The scan showed an enlarged distal para esophagus lymph node. I am now awaiting an endoscopy to investigate further. I suffer with reflux And have had two hiatus hernia repairs which both failed. I worried as to whether the lymph node is enlarged due to oesophageal cancer??

When you are waiting for tests it's natural to assume the worst and I'm guessing that you've also been 'googling'.
Although no one here is going to be able to tell you why your lymph node is enlarged as you are obviously worried that this points to oesophageal cancer so you could join the oesophageal cancer group where you can chat to others about what their symptoms were.
