just thought I would say hi. Diagnosed in February last year with NHL following an unexpected rupture of my spleen. I was fortunate to be able to have uninterrupted treatment during the first lockdown. Still in completer remission one year on but left with peripheral neuropathy from one of the chemo drugs. Still count myself lucky though.

  • Hi  and warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about your Lymphoma diagnosis but good to h at that you are one year in remission.

I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out around our blood cancer groups. I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare skin incurable Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma so have been on this journey rather a long time..... and in my case it took 17 years to achieve long term remission Rolling eyes

There are over 60 types and subtypes of Lymphoma so we can’t have a group for every type but these are our main Lymphoma groups below:

General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma - That I see you have joined.

    Follicular Lymphoma

    Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

    Mantel Cell Lymphoma

    T-Cell Lymphoma

Have a look at the group names then join the best group for your type by clicking on the link then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens.

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones). You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.

I will keep an eye open for you but if you are not sure get back to me on this post and I will help you out further.

    Mike (Thehighlander)
