Hi
Really anxious, went for an endoscopy today due to severe heartburn not being controlled by medication. I am in total shock as didn't expect them to find a lump. They found a 5cm submucosal bulge in upper part of stomach and it says difficult to be certain of the clincial significance of this. I wasn't even seen by the Doctor, just given my report with this information on it and that next is a CT scan in 2 weeks.
I am terrified it is stomach cancer, I'm 51 years old and in reasonable health and this has made me feel so anxious. Just wondered if anyone else has had this kind of lump found before and what happened.

Yes I remember back to 1999 when I was diagnosed with a rare hard to treat incurable blood cancer..... but I am still around helping others navigate their journeys and let’s look for you to be doing the same.
The noise between the ears will calm down once you get more information and a plan is put in place - all the very best.
Thank you for your kind words. Glad you are doing so well now. Yes, the waiting is the hardest part.
