Hi, had heart attacks first then a couple of months later got told that I have blood cancer (ET Jak2). I'm ex armed forces and now live alone. Also have mental health too. I won my first battle with cancer which was hogkin's back in 1999. Because of covid-19 finding some things hard to do. The tiredness, sleepiness night sometimes and being forgetful. It slowly driving me mad. Out of ideas. So here to find some more to help with my down days.
Hi and welcome to the Online Community but sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about ET diagnosis and more so that you have already been through HL.
Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is one of these rare types of blood cancer and at the moment we don’t have a specific support group but you may want to put Essential thrombocythemia (ET) into the search tool near the top and see all the old posts.
You will see that most of these posts are in our Other cancers group. To join a group just click on the link above then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens.
You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones), you could just copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
