Terrified of breast cancer

Hi , you have done the right thing making an appointment to get checked out as that is the only way to find out if it's breast cancer or not.  Most lumps tend to be harmless and not cancer and as you say the dimpled skin could be something else (I can't see if it's dimpled or not in your picture so I'm going off of what you think it is).

I know it's difficult not to worry and this stage where you are waiting to be seen and waiting for results if they need to further investigate is the worst part of the whole process.  Please do not google as you will panic yourself and a lot of the information is wrong.  Also bear in mind that breast cancer is very treatable these days with a very high success rate.

These bodies we have to live in can indeed making this living thing challenging at times so let’s look for you to get clear answers soon.

Going to see your medical professionals is the only way to get answers as a platform like this is not able to look through the same eyes as a Doctor so let’s get this appointment and move this on.

Having been on this community for a number of years one thing I can safely say is until you are told you have cancer you don’t..... and even if this breast cancer there are many many people on the community have come through it and are living well.
