Hi and thanks for the add. I have colonoscopy and endo this Fri but I was diagnosed with anemia a few weeks ago and had blood in my stools most of the year. I feel like having panic attacks on and off(suffered before) but read some great posts on here to be optimistic about. I'm just dreading a T4 and mass spread. Sorry for sounding off. I'm 45 years old with to beautiful daughters 21 and 18 a beautiful wife and a 3 year old choccy lab.
Hi and welcome to the Online Community but sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about your ongoing diagnosis.
The diagnosis process can be rather challenging but over the years I have helping out on this community one phrase sticks in my mind ‘Until someone says you have cancer you don't’
But at the same time is always good to understand the process so talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer treatment journey helped me navigate this difficult time so can I recommend you join our supportive Bowel (colon and rectum) cancer group as this will be a good place to connect with patients and family on the same cancer treatment pathway.
To join a group just click on the link above then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens.
You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones), you could just copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
It’s always good to talk so do call the Macmillan Support Services on 0808 808 00 00 - most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week Clicking here to see what is available.
This service provides lots of cancer information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
