Four weeks ago I was diagnosed with a 17cm×15cm mass/cyst on/around my ovary. I am 50 years old, and have been sterilised, so not worried about the fertility side of things.
I have had a CT scan, but not heard anything yet. How can I not worry when this mass/cyst is inside me?

It’s a scary time indeed but once all the tests are done and a clear way forward is put in place the noise between your ears will start to calm down.
Your post made me reflect back 22 years to when I was first diagnosed with my incurable blood cancer - it took a year to find the truth as it was so rare but you will get your answers soon.
A cancer diagnosis can be challenging in so many ways but you will find talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer treatment journey will help you navigate this difficult time so can I recommend you join our supportive Ovarian cancer group as this will be a good place to connect with patients and families going through the same type of cancer treatments.
