Hi all

I have only recently been diagnosed with an aggressive stage of Light Cell Myeloma...I have had my first chemo cycle and ready to start my second cycle. I have also been diagnosed with AKI...my heamoglobin is very low as is my calcium. My creatine level is high. I can't seem to catch a break with my health. There is always something not right. I'm always tired and out of breath. I'm normally an active person but this has really knocked me over..

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to read that on top of your other health issues you've recently been diagnosed with myeloma and I can understand why you feel "knocked....over".

I can see that you've already joined the myeloma group and when you're ready to post there clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. You can then start a new post and introduce yourself in the same way as you did here and respond to other posts by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
