I was diagnosed a few weeks ago following a colonoscopy. Things have moved quickly and I have now had 2 sessions of Folfoxiri, just another 10 to go plus some radiotherapy and an operation!
On the whole I am dealing with the treatment well, the first one was a bit of an eye opener however the second one was a little easier. The worst of the side effects is the wind. Heartburn, indigestion and flatulence. I am eating every couple of hours which helps, but does anyone have any suggestions to ease the pain & discomfort.
