Hello,
My has recently been diagnosed with Mesothelioma and had a chest drain fitted. He was accepted on a drugs trial for immunotherapy treatment and recently had his first treatment. Unfortunately his liver enzymes went dangerously high and we have now been told by his oncologist that he will not be able to continue with the immunotherapy due to this. They are now deciding on other options, chemotherapy being one.
I was wondering if seeing a specialist oncologist privately would give us anymore options? Does anyone have any experience of this, any recommendations would be great
