Dear All,
Hope you are all okay. I am new to this group, it has take. Me a few days to write something as I’m not sure what to really type. All I know is I feel very lonely at times and feel that when something new hurts is is the downward spiral to the cancer taking it grips on me!

Hi I think I no how you feel I have been having chemoradiation for 11 days now and not knowing what's happening to my body is terrifying every new pain I think it's getting worse .I broke down in front of a nurse in radiotherapy I felt so ashamed in doing so but now I am so glad I did the support and the understanding I have from them now is unbelievable they have helped me cope a little better and not feel so alone. I hope you find some help dont be afraid to ask at the hospital your not alone xxx
I know how you feel, I’ve just got my diagnosis and waiting to see the surgeon next week for my treatment plan. It’s been 3 weeks since I was called back for further tests following a mammogram. Since getting the diagnosis I’m sure I can feel the cancer and I think it’s had 3 more weeks to do what it likes with nothing stopping it. Any ache or pain or slight discomfort I immediately think it’s spread
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read how lonely you feel but now that you've joined the online community you'll find plenty of people who will have an idea how you feel.
I can see that you've already found and joined the living with incurable cancer group and, when you're ready to post there, I'm sure you'll find the other members of the group incredibly supportive.
Sending you a ((hug))
Hi Demon Dolly and a very warm welcome to the online community
Although I had a different type of cancer to you I can completely relate to the worry about thinking that every little ache and pain means that the cancer has spread. My diagnosis was 4 years ago now and I have now reached the point where I no longer assume every twinge means a cancer spread.
I can see that you've found and joined the breast cancer group which I'm sure you'll find is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with the same type of cancer. When you feel ready to post there you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
