I'm new here.
I was diagnosed with ER+ HER+ Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer on 8th March,a few weeks after I turned 50.Its in my lymph nodes and I'm currently waiting for ct results. My breast mri shows nothing in the other breast so I'm thankful for small mercies I guess.
I start EC x4 followed by Docetaxel x4,with Herceptin and Pertuzumab next week, followed by probable mastectomy then radiotherapy.Long haul stuff.
I'm still stunned tbh and waiting for it all to sink in,and I'm scared of the unknown, and the whole journey.
I suppose I've joined to talk to people who understand.Im being told to stay positive, and am trying my best, but its always by people who don't have it,don't understand the rollercoaster of emotions involved, and aren't feeling my fear or wanting to hear my wobbly moments.
