Dear all , I am new to the group and would like to introduce myself.
I have been diagnosed and treated for stage 2 vaginal cancer two and a half years ago. Treatment was radical chemo radiation with external radiation followed by internal radiation.
About a year ago I have also been diagnosed and treated for mouth cancer stage 1. This time it was two sets of surgery.
Now I fear my vaginal cancer may have returned. I am waiting for the results of an MRI scan and am struggling a bit with anxiety.
I wonder if anyone else has had any experience of this and can tell me what to expect as a next step. I have never met anyone else with vaginal cancer although I know a fair few ladies with other gynae cancers from Maggies.
Looking forward to hearing from you all
