Hi,Recently diagnosed with bowel cancer.Had emergency surgery to perform stoma after bowel perforated and poisoned my bowel area.Tumour was found two weeks previous to this.I start chemo in two weeks time and am nervous about it all.Can anyone put my mind at ease?
Hi sorry to hear that. How are you getting on with your stoma? I had an op in Oct to remove a mass in my pelvis which turned out to be more in my intestines so had to have some of my intestines out and needed a stoma. Im currently on cycle 3 chemo following stage 4 diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
the chemo I have is manageable - feel like crap for about 9 days but the anti sickness meds I get keep the sickness at bay.
what chemo / meds are they giving you?
hope All goes well for you
