Hello everyone. I just wanted to post to get an idea of what to expect, I've been referred to get a CT scan within the next 2 weeks after finding a lump on the side of my neck. I've never had one before and am feeling anxious not knowing what to expect so wondered what will happen when I get there so if anyone could share their experiences, that would be really helpful. Thank you in advance!

  • Hi

It's a breeze ! The staff talk to you all the time whilst you are in the scanner. That said should you be claustrophobic, which I'm not, I think you should let them know beforehand..

    All good wishes.
