Hi I'm going through a lot at the moment. My first round of chemo sent me mad and then I got sepsis. After this I seem to have infection after infection. I am beyond worried about my next chemo which should have been last week. I'm even leaning towards stopping Treatments. I'm finding it all too hard and I am mostly on my own as my partner left me after 17 years 3 weeks before I was diagnosed. Does it ever get better?

  • Hi  and warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing during treatment.

I have had 100s of hours of chemo, some was very bad but others were ok so it’s important to remember that each cycle can be different...... but I never thought about stopping as my drive for life was far greater.
