Hi, was diagnosed 2 days ago, the day before my birthday, with bone mets in my spine and hip.
Trying to get my head round it all. No symptoms, nothing showed in CTPET scan or bloods, all showed in MRI. I've got treatment starting in 2 weeks.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm really sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with mets in your spine and hip and I can understand how difficult this would be to come to terms with.
I can see that you've found and joined the secondary breast cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there when you feel ready to post. I know the group has a thread called 'positive secondary breast cancer stories' which you might like to have a look through.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
