Abdominal/genital lymphoedema question

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I haven't experienced lymphoedema, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

I can see that you've posted about having lymphoedema before so assume that you haven't been able to get any help from your medical team.

Hi Summer, I think I have replied to you before and hope you’re ok. As I may have mentioned before, I live with lymphoedema. However, it was present all my life, and my cancer diagnosis/treatment were two years ago. It’s such a little known condition (lymphoedema), but the good thing is that it can be managed. I’m not familiar with how it affects the trunk/genital area. If it were me, I would be pressing my GP for a lymphoedema referral and speaking to the Macmillan helpline - the one where you can speak to a nurse.
