Hi
I live in london and a friend has some compression garments that they no longer need. where is the best place to donate them? I have tried cancer research. they seemed to be well made garments hardly used so it seems a shame for someone not to take advantage.
thanks
A
I asked my lymphoedema nurse exactly the same thing and she told me that regrettably they cannot be used again as they are made to measure to fit each individual patient. I wear a full length compression stocking on my left leg and I keep a couple (I don't really know why!) and the rest go in the clothes recycling bin in Tesco car park (after washing of course) goodness knows where they'll end up!
