Hello to you all. Sorry to have met the criteria for inclusion in this group of the forum (Just recently diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, bone mets and multiple lymph node involvement. Described by oncologist as particularly nasty and unlucky, the cancer not me! She may be half correct as I can’t get a win a the bookies for love nor money). I am 53 and intend to hang around with my rather dark sense of humour for a long as possible. Current estimates anywhere from 12 to 36 months, so lets see if this time frame can be extended!

Ahhhh LEL. Now this is an error but we might also say Laugh Exceptionally Loud. Works for me, especially on my rotten days.

I’ve only went and got myself a wee tattoo. Partly bucket list and partly end of life crisis. I am very happy with it though. Hope you all have or are having a good day

I like to run so I got a wee diagram of the molecular basis of the “runners high” on my left forearm. Now the funny thing is I was in getting some bloods yesterday, as we do. The nurse was a bit anti-tatttoo and went on about folk 40 years time in the nursing homes looking silly with the ink all over them. I did of course comment that wasn’t something I need to worry about,,,LEL. Ended the conversation swiftly :)

LoL, I'm not into tattoos I leave that to my wife, anyway is each person's decision no matter what age, well done closing the rude conversation.

To be honest I have always considered one but wouldn’t have if it wasn't for all this. I would be in the, ach I will do it next year camp. No time like the present. And as you say each to their own. Hope you are doing ok :)

I'm not doing to bad, 19 months from diagnosis and stable, still have the usually side effects and niggly pains, so all good.

That’s great, same here with the side effects and pain. Just had a call sticking me on Bisphosphonate meds, so another one to add to the cocktail. The way I am feeling I may have an actual cocktail later ;)
