Hello to you all. Sorry to have met the criteria for inclusion in this group of the forum (Just recently diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, bone mets and multiple lymph node involvement. Described by oncologist as particularly nasty and unlucky, the cancer not me! She may be half correct as I can’t get a win a the bookies for love nor money). I am 53 and intend to hang around with my rather dark sense of humour for a long as possible. Current estimates anywhere from 12 to 36 months, so lets see if this time frame can be extended!
All the best to you all.
Michael
To be honest Ulls I am pleased to see you this morning. This thread has gone loopy loo.
Ellie has been persuaded by Moi2 to take the devil drink route in the morning. If you read the thread I think you will agree she is pxxxxd.
The sun has affected so many people on here that I now, at first glance, appear normal. This is a worrying development.
OHHHH that's a problem, wine first thing in the morning never, I never for one moment thought that wineos would be allowed in this group, who is this upstart anyway?
It's Moi12, a previously sensible contributer.
I hate butter beans for the same reason as Ellie, was made to eat them, a traumatic experience. Dosnt matter how you describe them to make it seem like a nice holiday experience to eat them, they are still awful.
You can get them ready made in most supermarkets in the World Foods sections. Jars and tins. Find that Odysea brand in a jar best. Pour off the excess oil - not required. Goes with any Greek food combo: Greek salad, felafel, halloumi sizzled in a pan, stuffed aubergine etc. You can make your own but getting the dried beans is difficult. Use ordinary butter beans instead. If you can get hold of the gigantes, they're huge and take ages to cook, so use a pressure cooker or whatever. Rainie x
