Hi everyone!
Newbie here, I found the courage and acceptance to join this group after getting confirmation that my pancreatic (and now in other places) cancer is non-curable.
I haven't asked for a prognosis, might do that when I'm feeling braver later on, but I aim to see my 50th birthday in June 2024. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Please say hello! I'm a little shy when I comes to posting but hope to join in, in a safe space.
Cheers
Christine

Welcome to the forum sorry you have a need to be here. Feel free to ask any and all questions no matter how daft you think they are we have all been there and done that and usually one of us has experienced something similar and we understand how you feel , worry, panic and feel lost etc and none of us bite unless asked really nicely lol.

Oooh fine, I love an Easter egg! And my husband is trying to lose weight so it might be just up to me!
Thanks Richard, it's good to be part of this safe space. I know I'll have questions that I'd rather my friends and family didn't see and I'm not sure of any of them use the Macmillan forums.
Just ask on here. We all probably know more than our oncologists. And we know exactly how you are feeling.
On here you can ask the stuff that you know friends and relatives don’t want to hear

oooh this! I had a challenge telling my in-law family about this sh1t show last month. "What do you want to come and see me about?" my SiL repeatedly asked. I wrote a post - but never submitted it because what if they came on here and read it! I haven't quite worked out how to do any info sharing without letting the C define me. I might do a blog, but it wouldn't be aimed at them, it would be for people behind me in the club.
