Yes it was me said that wig makes me look like an extra one of my two identical twin sisters, 11 years older than me! As you say - not great. Mind you they are both very good looking for 77, both fit and active and still gardening, decorating etc. So maybe I wouldn't mind being more like them!
I had chemo today, and have 5 days of self administered injections to take to ensure white cells dont go plummeting again- something to look forward to. Mind you I cannot complain as my son is a type 1 diabetic and has to do it 3 times per day. Nurse who treated me today said she wanted to say well done for white cell count increasing- so did I- ridiculous because I didnt do anything, but hey, take te accolades wherever they come from!
However it happened, well done, it is all going to help you. Bugger the chemo, let it do its worst, you have seen it off before. I really hope you can enjoy the holiday without suffering. Xxxx
