At last feeling more myself, my apologies for depressing last post about death to anyone who was affected.

Hi Pepperpot, glad you are feeling much better. Odansetron worked for me too. I don't have a stent but I do have a trach tube which also took some getting used to and won't be permanent but after a while it just becomes a minor discomfort that happens to have saved my life. Feeling low and ranting is normal in our situation. Don't worry and have a great evening.

We are all in the same boat here so no apologies required . Its amazing feeling normal , I have been feeling rubbish for ages and then told I have 2/4 months to live and been put on these steroids which are like flicking a switch and I am a new person.  All the Best Minmax

Oh Minmax , I'm so pleased to hear you're on an upswing .It's awful when you feel so ill, I hadn't before but the last 7 wks rather showed me how quickly one can go down hill.I wish you all the best...loved hearing from you.x

Glad you are more settled. They should adjust your dose next cycle and it can make a big difference. Have a good week of rest.

Yes I've been told that for Cycle2 they will reduce the dose , that's next week so I'm hoping it won't be awful.I had little side effects from the Herceptin and Oxalyplatin so I'm ready.

Hi Pepperpot, Ondansetron did it for me too. I've been taking them for over 9 years now and never looked back, no side effects at all. I'm glad you're enjoying time at home and fingers crossed for cycle 2 that it's a little less troublesome.

Thankyou TVMan I have a hunch Ondansetron might be expensive because it works so well, so one is prescribed Cyclizine or Metoclopramide at first to see if they work then Ondansetron if they don't.Im just so glad I have it now.
