Hi Lucy, It sounds as if the Consultant is in your corner and that's always a good thing. They seem to get things sorted when others have failed. You shouldn't have to "push" for anything, especially blood tests! Your GP has slipped up there.

Hopefully while you are in hospital, they will get things sorted out for you. None of us like being in hospital but as Ellie & Sarah have said, you are in the best place to get things back on track!

Yes, I am home. For some reason my cancer is affecting my blood calcium levels so I will need them to be monitored and treated every couple of weeks.

Oh good, I’m glad that they finally sorted that for you. Sounds like your doc needs a rocket stuck up somewhere!!!
