Hello all
I got my PET scan results today. It confirmed that there are cancer spots in both lungs, but there is no evidence it has spread elsewhere. The head and neck cancer seems to have responded well to radiotherapy. So I have signed the consent forms for immunotherapy. I have been told my Combined Positive Score (CPS) is very high, so I am more likely to be a responder (still trying to understand this, but it feels like the one positive in a long time). I start on Nivolumab in a few weeks, on a 4 week cycle. The next scan is in 4 months. So I now have plan.

At least you now know which way ahead you are going.
I did not have Nivolumab but others have and i hope they come in for you.
I did have a different type of immunotherapy every three weeks and i completed the two year course,
I finished it Dec 2018 had a good out come, but slight growth last year and had 13 sessions radiotherapy..
I wish you well, have to say i did have chemo before the immunotherapy which turned out for me to be so much kinder, i have lung cancer.
Take Care Ellie x
