Great photos Chromeplated-  looks idyllic Slight smile

  • Went to Tenby many times for the annual European Tope Championships, this was way back in the early seventies. Beautiful town with picturesque harbour.

    Take care, Tom.

Lovely photos. I did a walking and cycling holiday in South West Wales a few years ago and loved it. I do hope you can make it back there for a visit. Top of my bucket list is Aberystwyth. I was at university there and every time I go back to mid-Wales, it feels like coming home. I love walking along the prom in the winter when it's quiet and the waves are crashing up against the sea wall, and visiting Ynyslas beach a few miles away. I'm not sure if I have the energy to organise a trip though.

  • Beautiful photos you have taken

  • We went two years ago, I was brought up in Port Talbot and cannot believe I could not remember ever visiting.  Would love to return, especially the lobster roles at freshwater

    Youngman Is that here?

My wife and myself visited Pembrokeshire for approx 32 years sometimes twice a year staying with friends in Killgetty.

  • Hi chromeplated, we have booked a little cottage in Pembrokeshire for July, so thank you for sharing these photos. We have never been before, and we are really looking forward to it.

  • Great pix. I did a coastal walk round the Lleyn peninsula years ago [Solva rings a bell] and remember was fascinated by a flooded quarry we came across that  was deep turqouise. Shot off rolls of film - it was a while back, not digital - and later did a whole art project on it, it was so beautiful. It was right on the coast and boats were moored in it. Thanks for provoking lovely memories.  Rainie x
