Hi everyone,
Here's the new thread for October.
can you email
about your login issues. Sorry only just seen you have been having problems.
Hi Stella, that sounds great. I hope you get a chance to explore Istanbul or maybe you've already been there? Istanbul was one of the destinations that Mrs Tvman and I visited on our cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean. What a fascinating place with its Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. I remember trying to get a lower price on something and the guy selling it asked me if I'd learnt my English in Turkey which was very funny and had Mrs Tvman and me laughing.
I'm slowly getting to full health Stella, thanks for asking. I lost a stone in weight in 4 or 5 days. Meals are being adjusted in size although recently I haven't been eating large portions anyway.

Sorry to hear about your weight loss Tvman, that is a lot to lose in 5 days. Glad you are feeling a bit better. Another canary update. So now Beth has decided she does not want to sleep in the new nest (she has been doing so since I put it in). Rip likes sleeping in the old nest. Now everywhere Rip goes, Beth chases him away. He goes to one food bowl and Beth decides she has to go to that food bowl, he goes to one piece of broccoli, and Beth decides she has to have that same piece. I have now named her Bully Beth. Anyone got any ideas? Is this just normal?

I had a couple of peach-faced lovebirds many years ago and they truly lived up to their name, they lived in absolute blissful harmony until one got ill and passed away. After that, the surviving one (don't remember the name) mourned for a bit so I it let her out of her cage. She became really tame and flew around everywhere until it was time for bed. She tended to pretend to attack visitors though she only swooped really close and did nothing. Funny memories. So if you have to get rid of Rip and Beth due to irreconcilable marital issues get love birds

Good evening to you All
Glad to see you are mostly doing fine. Just back home from another Hospital stay. They let me out after another 2 bags of blood. My Haemoglobin just don’t want to play ball. Getting severely annoyed by now
Holidaymakers have a wonderful time and make loads of memories for the long, cold winter nights. May tests, results and procedures go well and recoveries are swift. I am having a few days of rest and hope bloods will still be ok next week’s check up.
Hope Winston is going to be a good boy and doesn’t plot his revenge for your homecoming. Maybe favourite jumpers, jackets etc should be kept out of tiny claws.
Love and a big cosy hug all round

Hi Tvman no I did not get another canary. I am hoping for babies next year. How is your health now, are you able to eat a bit more? How is Mrs Tvman doing? Patrick maybe you should consider some more lovebirds, any news on persuading Mrs Patrick about the dog?
