Hi everyone,
Here's the new thread for October.
Glad you are enjoying the cruise Stella. Have a great time in Scotland KrisPy and Chelle not long to wait for you now either

Hiya Stella, good to hear you are having a blast on your holidays. Lilly and I are cosy at home since it has turned much cooler here in Speyside. Frosty this morning and the delight of severe Windto come towards the weekend. Winter is surely coming our way. I am still battling with my haemoglobin and platelets at present and crossing my fingers that it will sort itself out very soon. I was talking to Eddie yesterday. He is still in hospital gathering his strength for a bit. Enjoy your Cruise

Hi Alana01
Fingers crossed the hemoglobin issue gets sorted for you Angie.
And thanks for the heads up re the weather! I am heading up to Aberfeldy tomorrow and do have my warm stuff packed!! Lovely sunny day in Birmingham after very heavy rain overnight, the trees in the parks are beginning to change into a riot of colour. Can’t wait to get up into Perthshire..
Stay positive, be strong

Good Afternoon KrisPy, lucky you traveling to Aberfeldy at this time. Perthshire will be beautiful with the trees in all their colours. Do you ever travel around Speyside. It is a very beautiful part of Scotland too, not to mention the amazing drams we have here . Sadly I can’t enjoy one or two anymore since my body does not tolerate it with my medications. Have a wonderful time with your family and a safe journey. Big warm hug from

Hiya Chelle, I see you are going on a Cruise as well. Where are you heading to? It’s amazing how many of our fellow incurable ones are going on Cruises. I admire you all for getting up and actually go. Have a wonderful holiday when the time comes. Big hug and love

Hi Alana01 - I have only travelled through the area and have not had a chance to stay and really “enjoy” the area. I must say though that I am partial to a Speyside tipple!! But like yourself I am “dry” at the moment - and Aberfeldy has its own distillery….
Stay positive, be strong

Hi Alana01
cruising is so easy for me because we live so close to the cruise ports. We can leave home, check in, go through security and be on board within an hour. Once on board if I don’t feel well, there is so much to keep Mr Simo occupied, and I stay in the comfort of the cabin where I can get room service.
This cruise we are off to the canaries, Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, lanzarote, Lisbon. I’m really looking forward to Madeira and Lisbon as I have not been to either before. The others it won’t matter if I don’t go ashore, it will be nice in the sun, there are pools on board.
My only worry is my little dog. I know he will be well looked after, but I will miss him. X

I had my denosumab before I received the email, but I did mention to hubby that the box looked different, and injection looked bigger, so I am not fully convinced it was denosumab I received. If I had seen the email prior I would have made more effort to check. I am sorry you are experiencing a bad tummy again. I would go to your gp and tell him you are having a bad reaction and want to go back on denosumab. Mine is every 6 months so not due until April now. X
