Lovely morning chit chat thread - September

I found painting or just messing around in my case quite therapeutic. I get lost in it and it is nice to have a break from thinking about our health and fear. Maybe you could start on it again? Maybe a painting of Macy if she will stay still 

Do you have many house plants to attend to? I kill any house plants, Winston also enjoys biting the leaves or digging them up from the pots. I am looking forward to got to Columbia street flower market and get some fresh flowers when it is not so warm. They don’t cope well with the train journey home. X

The nurse just said she was going to measure me for stockings which is interesting….

Good afternoon 

Hope your op went well and you are home already KrisPy. 
I was in London for my scans. Unfortunately my vein collapsed whilst having the contrast injected. It went out of the vein into the muscles instead. So my left arm is as illuminated. The radiographer put ice on it and massaged for about 10 minutes. It is not painful anymore but my left arm is now significantly bigger than my right. . My personal trainer will be impressed with this! 
Missed a step on one of the road and pulled my right pelvic muscle more. 
At least went to a nice Thai restaurant and was very satisfied   on my way home now after a ln interesting day.

Hi Stella - I’m still here!  Was over a two hour op and I have a wound of about 10cm .  I’ve only just started to begin to feel normal again, and very sore… be a couple of hours before they let me go I think.

I shall be resting over the weekend most definitely!

Sounds rather sore KrisPy. Hope you are home tonight and able to rest up. Take it easy, just some gentle walks. You make want a pillow for your tummy when you cough or sneeze.

I have to report another incident involving Winston. Last night, Craig spotted a hedgehog at the front porch. So he went and got some cat food out on a plate and took it out to feed the hedgehog. However, Winston was watching him and for some reason become very annoyed by this.So he proceeded to pull down Craig’s favourite jumper and peed on it! It happened 1 minute after the feeding. 

Winston is such a jealous little cat!

Winston really is a jealous little pickle! His antics make me laugh, although I’m sure Craig didn’t find it funny. 

We had my grand pup here last night to stay. He is a cocker spaniel and only 2 weeks older than Alfie. They had great fun chasing each other around the garden all afternoon, and I thought we had a good night….but apparently mr Simo was up at 4 this morning with Hugo who wanted a cuddle on the sofa. I’m not sure if it was Hugo who wanted the cuddle or Mr Simo.
