Hi all
Here's your new chit-chat thread for June!
Hope it helps you all feel connected, do let us know if you need any further support, we're here to help
Hi Patrick,
We had such a great time together, she was here for most of Friday, and then surprised me on Saturday when she came back since there were storm delays at the golf tournament. It was a blessing being able to spend two days with her while she was back in town. She even got to see Macy and the new remodeling when she stopped by our house Sunday before leaving. I'm a little jealous, but we had a good time over the weekend, and tried to keep the emotional moments to a minimum.

Sounds lovely Eddie. I think the sea is till too cold to swim for me anytime of the year! Hope your appointment goes well and able to enjoy your holiday afterwards.x
Hi Stacy
What are you planting in your garden this year? How does the house remodelling look? Do you get to pick the paint colour?
I am glad to hear good progress is being made. You are making unbelievable progress, such a trooper. Hope you will able to leave the hospital and visit your house and Macy soon. We are all cheering you along the journey. You are surely getting there.
Rain has finished my roses for now. Some Star jasmine picked but they don’t really last in the vase

Lots of hugs
Thank you Stella, the oceans 15⁰, which is warmer than the air, and no matter what happens at my appointment, I'll be returning to the Scilly's afterwards xx
Good morning. I hope you had a lovely time with your friend Stacy, friendship and laughter is a good medicine. Hope you will see Macy and the garden soon. Stella will the roses pick up again after the rain? I was hoping to go to David Austin this weekend to see the roses. I have three of them in the garden. I hope you enjoy your Rhine trip Patrick, went many years ago. No way would you get me in sea whatever the temperature. My husband is a qualified diver and when he went diving in South Africa and told me what he saw, I thought no way, a pool is the way to go . Enjoy Scilly Isles Eddie. Have your bloods picked up enough for treatment Angie? How is Queen Lilly? Did Alfie go in the sea Chelle when you were on holiday. Are you moving to close to where you are now, otherwise you will miss your woods. My dogs have never been to the beach. Love to everyone on here.
Lee x
Good evening Lee and furry companions,
Bloods are still not where they should be. Hopefully another week will do the trick. Oncology said we will start treatment again next month, so I can get one cycle in before the wee surgery. Queen Lilly is doing fine. Sleeping soundly under the blanket on the sofa. It is getting cold tonight again and Lilly does not do cold at the best of times.
How are you getting on? hope all is fine at your little corner of the world. Big hug to you all from
Angie and Lilly xx
Hi Leelaloo
Alfie loves the beach, but isn’t very keen on the sea. He runs away from the waves. We are only moving 15 minutes drive away, and have already checked out the new woods for Alfie to explore. X

Best wishes to everyone from the River Rhine, sun tomorrow we're told
Patrick xx
Wow Patrick, that is a beautiful view! How long are you there for ?
Good morning All,
Just caught up on loads of posts and news. Somehow I must have turned notifications off by mistake!
We're spending the month on the Wild Atlantic Way, with interruptions for oncology appointments for various things including immunotherapy-related arthritis which really flared up badly this time. Rheumatology have started me on sub-cut Tocilizumab and it kicks in soon (meanwhile, more steroids, of course).
So, long story short, with steroids, I've been able to walk a bit further on the seafront and yes, I've had two dips in the sea! Water is 13.6°, it is refreshing but oh, the wind chill factor...it can make it or break it
This fella waited for quite a while apparently for food to be brought to him, watching me cooking dinner last evening, before giving up and flying off. Could he be a young crow??
Sending hugs to All,
Rose
