Oh Patrick,
the trip along the Rhine sounds lovely. I remember my parents took me when I was a child on a trip along the Rhine. It was great, but as a child you just don’t appreciate the real beauty of it. have a wonderful time and enjoy the Wine. Love from

Hiya Eddie,
another great photo of our furry companions. I see Lilly is looking very militant . Maybe one of these days she will actually give the bully cat next door a black eye. We live in hope, apparently fairytales do come true. Well in my furry companions opinion running in the house at double speed is the preferred option so far. Have a great time with your loved ones and extra hug to Evie xxx

Stella,
I am so delighted for you. What good news all round. It just goes to show what a change in circumstances a second opinion can make. Winston will he happy to have you back. Look after yourself and take it easy for a bit. Love from

Good day
Eddie Love your pet friends edition! I think I can spot Winston there but there are another two cats look very similar too. Have you arrived in the isle of Scilly? Glad your grand daughter is able to join you. Who is all there?
Alana: hope you are feeling better and enjoy your daughter visiting.
Patrick: have a wonderful trip and wine tasting. Who is doing the driving though?
Mr TVman : sorry to hear about Mrs. Hope she can stay put and rest up.
Stacy: How are you getting on with the cast fitting? How many revisions are needed?
Lee/ Chelle/ Lucy ; how’s re you all doing? Any plans for the weekend?
I am just relaxing at home and try to dead head the roses in between rain showers.
It is going to be hot again from this Friday. Any BBQ plans? X
Hi Stacy, I truly hope you had some good quality time with your friend over the weekend and that it took your mind away from the pain you are suffering.
Patrick xx
Hi Stella, we arrived safely yesterday, there's my 2 aunties, 2 eldest girls, their mum, Sheila, Evie and I, perfect , weather's been nice, and forecast the same all week, but not BBQ weather, tugh the sea is warm enough to swim in
.
I believe one of the cats that looks similar to Winston is your parents cat, obviously not as handsome.
Weekend plans are to come home for Monday appointments for Evie and I, and all being well, back to the Scilly's on Tuesday, with a couple of friends from the hospice.
love Eddie and family xx
Hi Stella,
We're having a lot of rainy weather for the rest of this week as well, I'm so looking forward to working in the garden again. It's just one of many goals that help keep me focused and my mind in a good place.
The fitting itself went okay, it's just that process and me being suspended or when I was putting pressure on parts of my torso that I'm not used to, that caused me additional pain. We're hoping they have something made by the end of this week or the beginning of next so I can see how it fits. There could be a lot of revisions needed, in case it pinches my skin anywhere, causes me pain, or more adjustments for both of my stomas. I didn't have a breast reduction done, so they're hoping the fit will be fine without putting me through that as well.
Once they have all of that adjusted, I'll be able to start using it a little more each day as tolerated. The bottom of the inside will air cells that are usually used for a person that's paralyzed so they don't get pressure sores, which will be the same for me with my torso. The goal is to get the fit comfortable enough so I can be okay wearing it for long periods of time during the day, especially as I learn to transfer between the bed and wheelchair while sitting upright. I'm just looking forward to finally being able to get out of bed, and leaving here for short trips to see Macy, and the home remodeling, before I can finally be released. I'll have the temporary one for a while, before they'll make the definitive prosthesis. Thankfully I'll be back at home long before that will take place.
I just keep hanging in there, and hoping this process goes by quickly.
~Stacy
