As ever, in memory of Ellie. Everyone is welcome to chit chat, share experiences or recipes, whatever you need
It’s sunny at the moment but a cold wind blowing. My daughter just called in for a coffee with steam coming out of her ears . The heating oil has gone up to 99pence per litre. She ordered it 2 weeks ago and it was 64 pence then. It is absolutely unacceptable of these big companies to increase the price, when they bought he commodity ages ago for a far lower price. About time the government will put a stop to these practices I reckon. Hope you stay cosy and enjoy the rest of the day. Lilly has gone for her afternoon nap and I shall have a coffee and 30 minutes of feet up time

I have other daffodils and tulips came through but not this new kind I have planted. Maybe they don’t like my garden,
Hiya Stella, how are you getting on? Shame about your daffodils, they look so pretty when out in bloom. Mine came out last year but only the leaves no flowers. Have to admit I have not exactly green fingers. Hope Winston is giving you loads of cuddles. Love

A very warm welcome Susan, how lovely to have a new contributor to our group. I think you are on the right road to find contentment. Here you will find support, friendship, a laugh and the space to be just yourself. Even some of our pets are talking to each other
. Stella’s gorgeous cat Winston and my Lilly have the occasional chat about us human pets and our shortcoming. Take care and chat soon again. Love and a big hug from

Good afternoon all. Well I braved it down to the beach with Alfie, it is dry here today, but very windy on the coast. Alfie made a friend with a cocker spaniel and they chased each other in circles for a while. Alfie was on a long line but he’s not quite ready to go fully off lead yet, his concentration is rubbish when we are out, and if he sees another dog he will be gone! There is no way I am chasing after him! But he had a lovely time and is now asleep at my feet.
