As ever, in memory of Ellie. Everyone is welcome to chit chat, share experiences or recipes, whatever you need
It sounds good Stella. As regards the nodules, why not consider giving yourself time to rest, time to think, time to get it all into a proper perspective. You are still recovering from major surgery. Just enjoy time with your mum and doing things you want to do and enjoy doing. You seem to be be in a rush when there is no real need. Enjoy your weekend!

Congratulations on your news. But sorry about the lung mets. Although it is good to have so many options on the table, it is confusing and stressful. I sometimes think it is better when the consultant tells you what you need to do, rather than give the choice.
I have had lung ablation. But mine was done via a bronchoscopy. My tumour was in the top lobe but had broken through into the bronchial airway. I was given a general anaesthetic and the tumour was removed then laser was used on the remaining tumours. As you know I have just received the news that everything is still stable, and although I am on hormone treatment, I haven’t had any other treatments since.
I think with your options the ablation would be something I would do, as you then have chemo still as a back up plan if needed in the future. I think I would also ask the thoracic surgeon if having ablation will still keep surgery as an option if ablation fails.
Lots to think about, but I am sure the thoracic surgeon will give the best advice. X
I miss judged it. The sun was out last week for a few days, so I thought it was time for me to come out of hibernation. I was wrong. The last couple of days it has been cold, it has been raining, and it has been dreary! So the heating is back on, I am back in my thermals, and I am not coming out til the sun does shine! Can someone please wake me when it is time. Thank you x
Ha ha Chelle same here I am only coming out when the sun does x
Good evening all
How are you all doing? Nothing much to report here just keep going to the doctors! Thoracic surgeon called today and made an appointment to see him this Thursday to discuss options. I have planted 5kg of daffodils bulb last year but have not see any came through yet. Hope squirrels have not eaten them all.
Love x
They should at least be coming out the ground surface by now Stella, any green leaves at all?

Still too cold here for that. Although we had a very nice unseasonably warm day today.
Good morning Chelle and all, it is sunny but a tad cool here today. Just had a look at the weather for the rest of the week and the weekend is looking grim for us here. Very strong winds, sleet and possible a bit of snow and cold. Not exactly what I was expecting. Had my 3 monthly scan yesterday, so fingers crossed there is no change. I presume nobody has had any word how Stacy is getting on. I keep thinking of her and hope she is doing ok. Trying to get the energy together to clean my windows, but might just leave that until tomorrow and have a coffee and an hours reading instead. Wishing you all a pleasant day and if any results are due may they be positive. Love from
