That is really great to hear Stella. I am going to try the standing on one leg with eyes shut. I do like sourdough bread, we had it in Iceland was delicious.
If you are going to try the standing on one leg thing, make sure you have a chair near by so you can hold on to if needed. X
I do balance exercises in my kitchen and use the kitchen counter to catch myself. It's very convenient
Hi Susan, a very belated warm welcome from me sweetheart, I so love and share your attitude to living with this awful disease, and wish you every success for your upcoming surgery.
Guys my physiotherapist "band 7," calls it the kettle exercise as doing it while you've the kettle on is long enough and frequent enough for a daily routine, but she recommends standing on one foot, with the other resting on the kitchen base units bottom shelf, my falls ceased in less than a month.

Thanks Chelle, I went to Sharon's service with a friend from the forum, who deserves the thanks my friend, and "luckily?" the puppies are all sold, and it'll be mum's last litter. How is Alfie doing with the training, has he got you all just where he wants you, I forgot Poppy picture of her in her fineries. XX
Good morning to you all
What a lovely time we have had at the Nathan Carter concert last night. My granddaughter is his number 1 fan and had a blast as usual. She met him the previous 2 years and just loves him. He actually got her up on stage to sing a wee bit of Rock me Mama with him. It’s a shame I can’t post you the video clip. Enjoy your Sunday the way you like best. Love from
Angie and Lilly xx
sorry took the photos down, somebody said not allowed to post 3rd party photos, so deleted them so don’t get told of xxx
Great pictures Angie glad I saw them before the moderators take them down. Your granddaughter is very pretty. I have never heard of Nathan Carter, will have to Google him. Nice to have you back Eddie. Love to Stacy, do you have a date to go home yet? Exercise with eyes closed is not so easy Stella. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Wish me luck we are going to Ikea today
Lee x
I hope you have a nice trip to Ikea today Lee. I've been to the one we have just north of Columbus twice, and it's definitely a pretty unique store. The Polaris shopping area is a 45 minute drive for us, so the only time we really go up there is when going to Costco. That area is always so busy, especially on weekends.
There isn't any date yet for when I can hopefully go home. Most survivors of this surgery spend several months in the hospital or eventually in a rehab facility, but thankfully in my case I won't be moved to a different location. My recovery has been slowed down due to the two wound vacs, one of those should be able to be removed during the foam change tomorrow or Wednesday, and they feel like I'll have the other one until a week after Easter. I'm making progress, it's just slow and frustrating as I continue to deal with the mental and physical challenges.
I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your granddaughter at the concert Angie! I searched him on YouTube and someone has a complete video of a concert in Ireland from four years ago on there. Very uplifting music from the parts I listened to this morning.
Love your latest pic on here Eddie, that one made me laugh!
I truly hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
~Stacy
